I've bought Songs To Burn Your Bridges By and ...And The Rest Will Follow...
I've listened to Evil (a chorus of resistance) and I found the video very weird, even if it's a nice song. I think I'll buy Rival Factions soon.
But you should buy the new Demon Hunter album, Storm The Gates Of Hell, it is so awesome!!

I have to disagree with the previous comment. Rival Factions is all about "the Project 86 sound"! Really, their sound has always been defined by intensity, eclecticism, and variety... They have always said that one of their goals with each album is to not make the same album twice. Rival Factions is intense, eclectic, and full of variety... and to be a true fan of Project 86 is to keep an open mind to new musical twists and let their musical growth grow on you.

Since Project 86's first album, I've been a diehard fan. I loved the progression from the frist album to DBL. Truthless Heroes was a little hard to understand at first but as i continued it grew on me. Songs like Another Boredom Movement and Hollow Again are classic Project 86. Then came out Songs to Burn Bridges which I thought was a weaker album with the exception of 5 songs that made the album worth it all. And The Rest will Follow...probably one of their best.
Then we come to the current album Rival Factions. I was impressed by Project's steady progression and love for music but i was disappointed in that I feel like they were experimental to the point of losing the trademark Project 86 sound.
The first 3 songs are definitely what you'd expect from Project the majority of what comes next isn't what I consider the Project 86 sound.
Yay for creativity, Yay for Diversity, but when i buy a Project 86 album I'm expecting to blow out my speakers with non-stop musical aggression (even in the slower more mellow songs) because that's the Project way. But Rival Factions kinds of redefines Project to me and my biggest disappointment is for the person who is introduced to Project 86 with Rival Factions.
There is so much more that Project is about and I dont think that this Album embody's what everyone loved about Project 86.
Much love to you guys but respectfully this album was good but remains in the shadow of previous albums.
